The 1st week, April-What is inside a seed?





















You will learn about 'Inside a Seed and Germination" through experiment.







Vocabulary : Seed, Germination, Sprout, Cotyledon, radicle









Germination happens when a baby plant is growing.





The plant is between the cotyledons.


Seeds with two cotyledon are called dicots like as beans and peanuts.

Seeds with one cotyledon are called monocots like as "corn".

This is a seed.

The seed is underground and is collecting nutrients.

Seeds will germinate when it is warm enough and also need enough water.

If you have seed wanted to see, PLS, bring any seed with soaked in water overnight to class!
