The last week, Sep-Dragonfly



You will make Dragonfly with patternblock in this week.

In this processing you will learn "Symmetry".

Vocabulary : Nymph, metarmophosis, aquatics

Female dragonfly lay eggs in or near water, often on floating or emergent plants.

When laying eggs, some species will submerge themselves completely in order to lay their eggs on a good surface.

The eggs then hatch into nymphs.

* If you catch dragonfly, you have enough sense to come in from rain.

The 3rd week, Sep-Ants


You will learn and investigate ants you catched through Big Screen Microscope.
Vocabulary : colony, mate, male, female,
The male ants only serve one purpose, to mate with future queen ants and do not live very long.
The queen grows to adulthood, mates, and then spends the rest of her life laying eggs.
*Preparation : alive ants if possible the largest ant you catch.

In this week, you will investigate Bee through Big Screen Microscope with Specimen Slide.

Vocabulary : Bee, Ocelli, Epidermis, Proboscis, Pollen

When the honeybee visits a flower, pollen collects on the body, legs and head including the eyes and antennae.

*If possible, PLS, Prepare "Dead Bee" !

The 1st week, Sep-Overview Insect



In this month you will review and investigate about common

insect.

In these days we have much difficulty time due to mosquito.

Vocabulary : Insect, Head, Thorax, Abdomen, Pair, Antennae

Insects have three body part called "Head, Thorax, Abdomen" and six legs and two pairs of wing

and one pari of antenna.

If you want to see annoying mosquito, you should catch large mosquito to investigate through big

screen microscope.
